Caryn E. Selick, MD
Dr. Selick is an attending and clinical assistant professor at New York University Medical Center, where she has been recognized for her dedication and skill in teaching with the distinguished Gordon W. Douglas Teaching Award from the residents and faculty. She is board certified in both Reproductive Endocrinology and Obstetrics and Gynecology. She is a fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and a member of the American Society of Reproductive Medicine.
Dr. Selick’s areas of expertise encompass all aspects of infertility including ovulation induction, intrauterine insemination (using partner or donor sperm), and in vitro fertilization, as well as the diagnosis and treatment of polycystic ovarian syndrome, fibroids, and endometriosis. She has published numerous articles in prestigious journals, and is well known in the field for her reproductive surgical skills.
Dr. Caryn Selick graduated Summa Cum Laude from the State University of New York at Stony Brook, where she was a member of Phi Beta Kappa and received the Biochemistry Award for Most Outstanding Student. She obtained her medical degree at New York University School of Medicine, and continued on to complete a four-year residency program at New York University - Bellevue Hospital. She pursued a fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology at the Mount Sinai Hospital in New York, where she studied and collaborated on various research projects with the current directors of Reproductive Medicine Associates of New York.
Amy Bloomgarden, MD
Dr. Amy Bloomgarden is an attending and clinical assistant professor at NYU Medical Center. She is a Board Certified Obstetrician/Gynecologist and a fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Dr. Bloomgarden has a comprehensive clinical practice that covers every facet of gynecological care. She is renowned for her extensive skill and expertise in the field of advanced laparoscopic and hysteroscopic surgery.
Dr. Bloomgarden graduated Summa Cum Laude from Tufts University. She received her medical degree at the University if Chicago/Pritzker School of Medicine, where she gradated at the top of her class and was awarded membership to the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Honorary Medical Society. She completed her residency training at Columbia University- New York Presbyterian Hospital, where she was selected as administrative chief resident and recognized for her surgical skill with a distinctive award from the Society of Gynecological Laparoendoscopic Surgeons. Dr. Bloomgarden has received numerous additional academic accolades during her studies and training including the Gates Pharmaceutical Award for outstanding performance in the field of obstetrics and gynecology, the American Medical Women’s Association Award, and several prestigious teaching awards.
